About the Maker
Liz Deane
Each handcrafted piece I make is thoughtfully created with you in mind; helping you capture and celebrate the moments in your life. I use a variety of materials but mostly sterling silver and hand cut stones.
I am a 2017 graduate of B Golden Jewelry School's Business Accelerator Program in Salt Lake City, Utah and have taken many classes and workshops from some of the best jewelers from around the country. I have worked with several local jewelry stores as a jewelry production assistant, and have been an instructor at B Golden Jewelry School in Salt Lake City, UT & Austin, TX. Most recently, I was an adjunct professor at Salt Lake Community College; teaching their Jewelry Arts & Creation Class.
I currently live in the Colorado Rockies with my husband & cat.

My Creative Process:
I acquire most of my precious metals from Rio Grande. An American company with an excellent reputation for being environmentally friendly which is important to me as an artist. I source many of my stones straight from Mother Earth herself or purchase them from reputable stone sellers.
I rarely sketch my designs. My ideas for jewelry are all swimming around in my head until I sit down at my home studio bench and spill it out. When I'm not making, I'm teaching private classes and group classes in and around Grand County, CO.
